At Deloitte, salaries range from $49,219 a year for entry-level analysts to as much as $875,000 a year for senior principals. The firm's US operation employs just over 170,000 people across 80 offices, with its headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York. Employees are entitled to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, can take three or six-month sabbaticals at 40% of their base pay, and are eligible for a wellbeing subsidy worth up to $1,000. Deloitte doesn't have a set RTO policy, although this may vary from team to team.

TOKYO (AP) — Japan has slipped to the world’s fourth-largest economy as government data released Thursday showed it fell behind the size of Germany's in 2023. Japan fell from the second-ranked economy behind the U.S. to the third-largest in 2010 as China's economy grew. The comparisons among nations’ economies look at nominal GDP, which doesn’t reflect some different national conditions, and is in dollar terms. Japan’s nominal GDP totaled $4.2 trillion last year, or about 591 trillion yen. The gap between developed countries and emerging nations is shrinking, with India certain to overtake Japan in nominal GDP in a few years, Okazaki said.

Insider combed through public data to get a snapshot of how much TikTok pays US employees. TikTok and owner ByteDance has offered base salaries between $29 an hour and $438,000 a year. Insider updated its analysis of how much TikTok employees make in the US, based on 1,135 US work-visa applications with salary data for more than 500 different jobs. The data includes base salaries only, not forms of compensation such as stock options or cash bonuses.
